HOW TO INVITE A CHILD TO A PHILOSOPHICAL DIALOGUE

Online meeting with Oscar Brenifier
Demonstration of individual philosophical discussions with children.
Analysis and discussion with the adults present.

Discussed subjects:

How to ask simple and effective questions to the child?
How to invite a child to reflect on his own existence and his existential difficulties?
How to help a child to think about complex problems?
How to teach a child to understand his own emotions?
How to interpret a child's answers?
Such questions arise, or should arise, in any family.

During this meeting, Oscar Brenifier will try to show how an adult can become a useful and interesting interlocutor for a child. Through simple and coherent questions, which can help parents understand how to invite the child to dialogue in order to make him think, and to understand him better.
Registration (adult)
After each dialogue with a child, participants will be invited to ask questions about the questioning technique, or to comment on it. Oscar Brenifier will analyze the various stages of the discussion, which will allow a better understanding of the strategy used and to examine which alternative strategies could be applied effectively, as well as those to avoid.
If you want your child to participate in a dialogue with Oscar Brenifier, register him below. Child from 8 years old (8+). (Duration of the dialogue: 15/20 minutes)

Oscar Brenifier
Philosophical Practitioner
Oscar Brenifier is the co-founder of the Institute of Philosophical Practices, based in Paris. Doctor of Philosophy, he has been promoting philosophical practice around the world for many years. He has published around fifty books in this area, for children and adults. His specialties are philosophical consultation, philosophy for children, didactics of philosophy and business philosophy.
