INSTITUTE OF PHILOSOPHICAL PRACTICES

4-week course: Thinking with AI
With Oscar Brenifier

4 Saturdays, 2:00–4:00 PM (Paris time)
August 22 & 29, September 5 & 12

How can we use AI to become better thinkers?

In recent years, Oscar Brenifier has spoken with AI almost daily, making it a constant companion in his philosophical work and writing.

As a philosopher with more than forty years of Socratic practice, he has come to an unexpected conclusion: the deepest value of AI is not in the answers it offers, but in the fact that —used with intention— can become an instrument for training thought.

Through continuous dialogue with AI it is possible to practice what philosophy has always trained: ask questions, analyze arguments, identify assumptions, think more precisely.

The question ceases to be how do I make AI think for me?
And it becomes how do I use AI to think better myself?
What will we do?
4 practical workshops in which we will work with real situations.
Between sessions, participants will have to do a daily practice with AI.
Who is it addressed to

For those who work with people, with ideas or with decisions. Teachers, therapists, managers, consultants, researchers, creators. Or anyone who wants to use AI to think more clearly.

No prior philosophical training is required.
No technical training required.
Only the willingness to think is necessary.
